Can I lose more money than I put in?

I bought a bunch of shares for a few different Democratic candidates that I thought were underrated and now my risk is many many times what I put in?

I'm new here, but my guess is no.  It's just like the stock market, which is a zero sum game.  You only stand to lose as much as you put in.

No you can't.  No matter what you buy, if the market settles against you those shares now have a value of $0.  You just lose what you put in
